CENTER FOR ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY AND COMMUNICATION HAWAII’s mission is to empower individuals with disabilities through the use of assistive technology (AT) while creating a sustainable support matrix between the individual, their family and the community, We provide Assistive Technology evaluation and training. In addition we have Speech Pathologists on staff for speech therapy, and AAC evaluation and training.

We believe everyone deserves a voice. For over 50 years, PRC has been a leader in giving a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves. Since our founding in 1966, PRC has paved the way in the development of speech-generating devices (SGDs) and continues to innovate in the field of augmentative and alternative communication. We are also a pioneer in the field of language and vocabulary development, giving children and adults with communication challenges the ability to participate in life.
