These “bite-sized” workshops offered in April, May and June 2021 help prepare families for smooth transitions to whatever lies ahead.

Financing the Future (April 17, 2021)

Preparing for your child’s transition to adult life is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. Creating a framework for what life will look like for your child will take planning and flexibility. Presenters from the UH College of Education will talk about marathon skills we can all use and will discuss how to use = the MAPS (McGill Action Planning System) tool. A trainer from the DDD will share a few Lifecoarse planning tools you can use right now, and a parent/youth team will share their experiences using these tools.
